98 = 2w*w
98 = 2w²
to get w² ,we divide bothe sides by 2 and the new equation becomes;
w² = (98/2)
w² = 49
to get w ,we have to get the squareroot of w² and 49
✓w² = ✓49
w = 7
remember that the length of the rectangle was twice the width. thus we substitute w with our initial expression for length and width

width = w
Length = 2(7) = 14
